We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist II to join our team in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role offers consistent schedules with shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM or 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This position presents an excellent opportunity to gain or expand hospital experience while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge samples while recording maintenance data.
+ Collect and store specimens according to established procedures, including blood, urine, and fecal samples.
+ Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously to patients.
+ Demonstrate proper techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles.
+ Understand and follow all physicians' orders accurately.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
