Job Description
This Phlebotomist II float role supports two clinical locations in the Essex and Union areas, performing high-quality specimen collection and handling while helping to troubleshoot issues, train others, and recommend improvements to workflow. You will use your phlebotomy expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate specimen processing, compliance with safety regulations, and excellent patient service across both sites.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles, following established clinical procedures.

+ Collect, label, and store blood and other specimens (including urine and fecal samples) according to established protocols and test requirements.

+ Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
