Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist I to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in specimen collection, handling, and processing, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and patient care. This role involves working with pediatric and geriatric patients and requires attention to detail and adherence to established procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws and other specimen collections (e.g., urine, fecal) following established procedures.Clearly and courteously explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients.Demonstrate proficiency in using straight and butterfly needles.Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.Package and store specimens according to required temperature and protocol to maintain integrity.Record maintenance data and perform decontamination procedures.Update patient informati...
