This Phlebotomist I float role supports multiple high-volume patient service centers by performing blood draws and specimen collections, processing and preparing samples for testing, and delivering excellent patient care. You assist with troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvements while ensuring all specimens are collected, labeled, stored, and transported according to established procedures and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles in a fast-paced patient service center environment.

+ Collect and store blood, urine, fecal, and other specimens according to established procedures and test requirements.

+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and feel at ease.
