Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and capillary draws on patients of all ages, following established safety and quality protocols.

+ Label, centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare specimens for transport according to regulatory standards.

+ Greet patients, verify their identity, explain procedures, and ensure a calm, professional experience.

+ Accurately enter patient and test information into the laboratory information system.

+ Follow OSHA, CLIA, and company guidelines for infection control, PPE use, and biohazard handling.

+ Maintain adequate supplies and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored.
