Karlstad University is seeking a Doctoral Researcher or Project Researcher in Mathematics to contribute to research on Rubin’s theorem for subshifts. This two-year position will begin on 1 September 2026 or by agreement.
The selected candidate will undertake independent research, collaborate with faculty, publish findings, and engage in departmental research activities. The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in mathematics and offers a salary between €2,500 and €2,800 per month.
