The IMDEA Networks Institute offers one fully funded PhD position in the area of Integrated Sensing and Communications for 6G. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing activities of the Wireless Networking Group by advancing the state of the art and designing key scientific and technological enablers of future cellular networks to integrate sensing and communications. To this end, he/she will design new models and algorithms for localization and sensing procedures. All work will be carried out in the specific context of integrating the different components in a 6G open experimentation platform and demonstrating the potential of 6G for sensing and positioning services.
