Job Summary:

The Health West Pharmacy Tech is friendly, energetic, detail-oriented individual who wants to work in a cutting-edge environment focused on individualized patient care. The primary purpose of the Pharmacy Technician in the care center and the retail pharmacy environment is to work independently and serve all patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform computer entry of prescription information including but not limited to: patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation and basic problem resolution.
• Accept customer and prescription information required to process refill prescriptions, including refill authorization and prior authorizations from doctor offices where permitted by state law and Health West protocol.
