Pharmacy Technician (Part-time)

Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Part‑time) to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A male prison located in Littleton. The role involves supporting medication management services for a 690‑bed facility serving life‑sentence inmates.

Hours and Salary

• 22.5 hours per week with a mixture of 9‑hour day shifts and weekends on a rota basis.
• Annual salary pro‑rated between £29 264 and £33 510, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centred care, administer medicines, analyse cost‑effective prescribing, and maintain accurate patient records following SOPs.
• Provide non‑judgemental care within professional standards and support the health‑in‑justice medicines policy.
• Collaborate with teams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver a trustworthy, safe, and high‑quality medicines service.
