Pharmacy Technician Advocate - Full Time Days - Southfield

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Location: Southfield

Schedule: Full Time - 40 hour day shifts, Work Schedule: 8 Hour shifts and rotate Saturday coverage

Pharmacy Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Closed Sundays)

Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:

+ Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

+ Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department

+ Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds.

+ Repackages bulk medications.

+ Receives and stores incoming supplies.

+ Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.
