**Job Description**

The **UW Medical Center-Montlake Pharmacy Department** is looking for an outstanding **Pharmacy Technician 2** to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team!

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ Full-Time / 40-hours per week
+ Day shift

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

+ Perform specialized, technical pharmaceutical tasks such as maintaining a controlled substance area and/or automated medication distribution system, and area-specific specialized technical tasks such as hazardous drug preparation

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician 1
+ Prepare medications from a physician order which may include compounded sterile products, hazardous medications and extemporaneously prepared doses
