The role requires expertise in preparing IV medications and managing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and compound intravenous medications, including IVPBs and TPNs
• Fill and manage Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets to ensure efficient medication availability
• Answer telephone inquiries related to pharmacy services
• Deliver medications promptly to nursing units to support patient care
• Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems for processing medication orders
