Pharmacy Tech - F/T Evening

Job Description:

To assist the pharmacist in providing all inpatient and outpatient Pharmacy services to patients of Doylestown Hospital. This includes preparation of medications, delivery to nursing units, providing clerical support and other duties related to the operation of the Pharmacy.

1. Coordinates, with the pharmacist, the work flow for the processing of medication orders.

2. Accurately prepares the routine supply of oral and injectable medications according to

departmental policies and procedures.

3. Delivers and returns medications to and from patient care areas and other departments on

a scheduled basis and when needed.

4. Maintains stock appropriately in the pharmacy, and in the patient care areas.
