Pharmacy Tech – Brooklyn Park Clinic Community Pharmacy

We are currently seeking a *Pharmacy Tech* to join our Brooklyn Park Clinic Community Pharmacy team. This position is full-time with benefits, 80 hours per pay period, day shift, and every 4th weekend. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required.
*Purpose of this position:*Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs a variety of technical and clerical duties allowable by law, while maintaining a favorable image of the pharmacy within the hospital and in the community.
*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*
* Answers phones for the pharmacy department and directs calls to appropriate personnel
* Maintains knowledge of the Hospital Credit and Collection Policy and other related policies
* Prepackages, prepares, labels, and hands out prescriptions after they are checked by a registered pharmacist
* Maintains cash registers, credit card machines, and reporting for cash transactions
* Prepares daily deposits for the cashier’s office
