Pharmacy Intern, Magee Outpatient Pharmacy

UPMC Magee Outpatient Pharmacy is looking for a pharmacy student to join their dedicated team as a Pharmacy Intern!

This position supports the Magee Women's Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy team at the Oakland Campus. Magee OP is part of the UPMC Retail Pharmacy Network. We fill outpatient and retail prescription orders for patients leaving the hospital, those visiting for clinic appointments, and employees. Applicants will find that retail pharmacy experience translates well into this role.

The pharmacy is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and staff support weekend discharges Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00.

Responsibilities:

+ Assists the pharmacist with medication distribution, delivering medication, refilling automated dispensing cabinets, and exchanging emergency medication carts.
