JOB SUMMARY

This job supports the Highmark Pharmacy Services organization and, specifically, the Pharmacy Contract Consultant, in the negotiation, development and execution of pharmacy and applicable vendor contracts.Additionally, the incumbent will collaborate with Pharmacy Services vendor management team to oversee external vendor performance.The incumbent will regularly collaborate with the Pharmacy Contract Consultant and other internal business units (e.g., legal, procurement and privacy) and external vendor partners (e.g., Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Specialty Pharmacies) to help manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including contract renewals, negotiations, terminations and amendments as needed by the business.In the course of assisting with management of the portfolio of pharmacy and applicable vendor contracts, the incumbent interfaces with other organization stakeholders in order to maximize value and mitigate risk to the ...
