Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Pharmacy Automation Coordinator, you will serve as the pharmacy team leader for the automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) segment of our medication distribution system.

Every day you will be responsible for controlled substance inventory, monitoring usage, investigating and following up on all discrepancies, and serving as the primary liaison between the ADC vendor and Nursing for problem solving. 

To be successful in this role, you will expertly manage the ADC system and controlled substance protocols, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless collaboration with nursing and vendors, while actively contributing to continuous quality improvement.
Monitors activities of all the controlled substances; documents, follows up and alerts Manager/Director on all discrepancies.
Serves as liaison between Nursing and Pharmacy for problem solving; communicates with Manager/Director regularly concerning issue...
