Responsibilities

• Dispenses medication and supplies to customers.
• Performs medication counselling
• Performs initial Drug Interaction Review as requested by the Customer.
• Performs Order Taking functions, Explains to the customers the MEdiCard Pharmacy Services
• Recommends generically equivalent products to the customer when the brand prescribed or requested is unavailable or if the customer requests for an efficient alternative.
• Attends to customer inquiries and requests regarding medicine.
• Maintains organized filing of prescriptions.
• Dispenses and records prescription and dangerous drugs according to the existing Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
• Ensures that appropriate information is given to patients purchasing Over the Counter Drugs.
• Ensures that quality of medicine is maintained through proper handling and storage at any given time.
