BARGAINING UNIT: SHCP

JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time

SCHEDULE: Day, Weekend, On Call, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spoken French and English essential and written French or English.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Chief Pharmacist plans and directs pharmacy practice activities to ensure quality services that meet patient needs at all points of service in the zone. They establish operating policies and procedures for the department, in compliance with legislation, regulations, standards of practice, Accreditation Canada requirements, and Vitalité Health Network policies and procedures.
