Pharmacist

A General Practice Clinical Pharmacist is required on a temporary contract to support a busy semi-rural GP surgery serving approximately 7,300 patients. TheClinical Pharmacist role is to support the GP's and the Practice in ensuring the deliveryof effective, safe, timely and quality patient care. Full in-house trainingwith be given to use our in-house EMIS Clinical system and other IT modules ieDocman, AccuRx.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Managing the Clinical Pharmacy function within the Practice, including line management of two pharmacy technicians.

Ensuring adherence to Drug Licensing requirements and keeping the Practice updated on Drug Formulary and drug classification changes.

Ensuring compliance with Controlled Drugs Regulations, identifying and communicating regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders.
