Our client is the leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana. The company now seeks a hands-on Pharmacist to ensure that medications and other health related products dispensed to customers are suitable and appropriate.

Key Accountabilities

• Dispense pharmaceutical and medical products as prescribed by doctors to customers

• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient

• Provide information and advice on drugs and other health related products, their side effects, correct dosage and proper storage.

• Assist customers by interpreting symptoms and providing immediate treatment or refer customers to a suitable physician

• Provide pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients on drug interactions.

• Provide pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications.
