Job Description

Summary
The NM-PET/CT technologist uses radioactive materials in specialized studies of body organs and/or laboratory analysis to assist the physician in diagnosis and injury. Perform technical procedures, including the control of ionizing radiation producing equipment for radiological diagnosis.
Experience
Minimum of one year experience preferred. 
Education
Certification from an approved Radiological Technology Program (Two years). 
Licenses:
ARRT(R)(NM) or RT(NMT) certification required, Advanced RT(R)(CT) certification preferred.
Essential Functions
Perform equipment quality control, both daily and quarterly and maintain records of same
Maintain equipment and procedure repairs, as needed
Dose management and administrationPrepare and administer proper radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic proceduresPrepare therapeutic doses for administration by radiologist
