GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision performs the following activities:
·Performs a basiclevel of processing and obtaining customs clearance approval for import/export and transshipments of documents, packages, and merchandise in baggage or air freight
·Regularization of cargo unavailability processes with the Federal Revenue Service and consenting bodies, including physical inspection (express and formal shipment);
·Prepares necessary customs forms to enable import and export procedures to occur in a timely, efficient and effective manner for shipments arriving/departing via aircraft;
·Reception and checking of formal export cargo at the Cargo Terminal (ABV/TECA);
·Prepare cargo documentation for customs clearance;
·Issuance of control reports;
·Reception of cleared cargo by FedEx brokers (Puxe);
