Personal Assistant in Lanark (Care Home)

Overview

Lanark – a registered care home supporting individuals with learning disabilities – is seeking a Personal Assistant to work across its two locations (five-bed unit and four-bed unit). The role is part of the Lanark Project team located in South Lanarkshire.

Working Hours and Pay

16 hours per week, with various shifts across the week.

Hourly rate: £13.45.

Role Summary

The Personal Assistant plays a vital part in supporting individuals with all aspects of their lives, promoting choice, independence and a quality of life that is as rewarding as it is diverse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
• Expand social networks and connections for the individuals supported.
