(PERMANENT PART TIME) REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE - FORENSIC COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION UNIT (FCRU)

Overview

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work in our Forensic Program. As an RPN, you will provide specialized care to patients with complex mental illnesses using a recovery‑focused model of care built upon compassion, inspiration and hope, and you will be an active and equal member of the interprofessional team.

Program Scope

The position is within the Forensic Program, which includes a Secure Forensic Service with three units that provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients ordered by the courts or the Ontario Review Board (ORB) who require a higher security level of accommodation; a General Forensic Service with three units for patients ordered by courts or ORB who require a lower security level; and a Forensic Outpatient Service that provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients residing in the community.
