Salary: £38,220 - £46,142 per annum. Retention Payment: £3,000

About the Role

As a Duty and Assessment Social Worker you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children and promoting positive outcomes from the very first point of contact. You will undertake timely assessments, respond to safeguarding concerns and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to identify risks, strengths and appropriate interventions. Working within a supportive and experienced team you will manage a varied caseload involving:

• Child Protection enquiries and investigations
• Child in Need assessments and planning
• Public Law Outline (PLO) and Pre‑Proceedings work
• Court work and Public Care Proceedings
• Emergency safeguarding interventions
• Multi‑agency decision‑making and partnership working
