District Nursing Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Motueka)

Permanent role working 0.9FTE (72 hours a fortnight).

About the Role

• Provide expert clinical advice to support the coordination of high‑quality, safe, evidence‑based and patient‑focused care in the community.
• Facilitate clinical excellence and provide measured data to support patient‑focused clinical outcomes.
• Monitor care delivery alongside clinical and professional performance to help staff achieve relevant Professional Portfolio levels.
• Partner with Nurse Educators to identify educational needs and deliver education and mentoring for staff.
• Provide resources and learning opportunities to ensure the ongoing competency of ENs and RNs in collaboration with the Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM).
• Support the ACNM in the day‑to‑day provision of a service that covers palliative care in urban and rural district nursing.
