Main duties of the job

These duties are not exhaustive.

• Accepting and triaging all new referrals received by the team.
• Communicating and liaising effectively with relevant referring partners and other agencies.
• Arranging and carrying out initial assessments.
• Offering support to the wider team with visits where specialist knowledge is required.
• Being part of the Senior Leadership Team and encouraging evidence‑based changes and processes across the service.
• Supporting staff with advice for duty calls during working hours and putting in place appropriate actions to address identified risks.
• Ensuring that any identified immediate risks are appropriately responded to and a proportionate risk management strategy is actioned, with input from the multidisciplinary team.
• Keeping up to date with relevant perinatal research and news to share with the wider team.
