**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

Responsible for assisting staff Perfusionists with the setup, priming, and maintenance of the heart-lung machine and ECMO circuit. Also includes; intra-aortic balloon pump management, cell saver management, heparin/anticoagulation monitoring and blood gas analysis of cardiothoracic patients.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)** :

+ Certification as a Paramedic, or equivalent medical background
+ Two (2) years years of relevant experience.
