PERColator/ Trainer

Description: A position responsible for training new hires and providing ongoing coaching and training to help develop the staff, and prepare them for new products and procedures, with the additional day-to-day responsibilities of a Shift Leader. The PERColator must hold himself to the highest standard—he sets the example that other staff members will look to.

Direct Supervisor: Owner/Operator or Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct New Staff Orientation
• Conduct in-store training according to the New Barista Training Program.
• See that new hires complete all of their paperwork correctly and completely.
• Conduct the NBT classes when new employees are hired.
• Grade trainees' quizzes and tests, storing them in the trainees' file after they have completed training.
• Shadow new staff members during their first two shifts (practical shifts).
