Job Description

Join the Global Cybersecurity team of one of the largest financial institutions in the world as a Security Principal Researcher. The department is responsible for enabling businesses and functions to manage their information, technology and cybersecurity risks by ensuring these are well-understood, and that controls used to manage such events are defined, assessed and implemented appropriately.

Your role
  • Follow the security testing process and report any gaps or opportunities for improvement to your supervisor
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure security testing requirements are met and help automate repetitive testing tasks
  • Develop an understanding of business functionality and apply testing methodology appropriate to technology and risk
  • Code and demonstrate basic proof-of-concept exploits
  • Assist in coordinating security test projects according to a structured process, including writing test plans, test cases, and test reports
