Prospero Teaching is working closely with local councils, SEND services, and education providers across Cumbria to deliver tailored, one-to-one support for young people who are not currently in full-time education. We are currently recruiting experienced Tutors to deliver English and Maths tuition for a Year 10 student in the Penrith area.

About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Tutor to support a Year 10 student with SEMH needs who is currently not engaging with education. The student is a Child in Care who has been permanently excluded from mainstream education and previously attended a PRU before moving out of the area.

They currently have access to online tuition, however engagement has been extremely limited. The local authority is therefore seeking face-to-face tutoring support to help rebuild trust, engagement, and confidence in learnin...
