About the Role

Peer Mentors support clients to engage with treatment services by accompanying them to appointments, sharing personal experiences, making referrals to drug and alcohol treatment services and encouraging access to harm reduction interventions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Have lived experience of substance misuse, supported living, or rough sleeping.
• Have found ways to overcome challenges in your life that you can share with others.
• Have experience accessing treatment or support services.
• Have been free from illicit drug use or problematic alcohol use for the past 3‑6 months.
