Job Details

Location: Sheppey Cluster – HMP Elmley, HMP Swaleside, and HMP Standford Hill (occasionally HMP Rochester, HMP Cookham Wood, HMP Maidstone, and HMP East Sutton Park)

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full Time)

Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term

DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check required plus HMPPS security clearance

Salary: CGL points 23 to 28 (£27,861.26 – £32,002.35)

About the Role

• Recruit, train and support a diverse range of peer mentors throughout the prison estate.
• Manage a volunteer recruitment and support strategy within the service.
