Pediatrics (Williams Lake)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatrician for Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, BC. The role is permanent, full‐time and includes on‑call coverage 1:3 – 1:4. The ideal candidate will provide general acute, neonatal (34 weeks and above), ER and consult services, with an interest in developmental and behavioural paediatrics.

Qualifications, Education and Skills

• Current CPSBC License (Provisional)
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) (Eligible)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) (Desired)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) highly recommended.
• U.S. trained physicians with ABMS certification in pediatrics may be eligible for full licensure.
