Pay: £194 to £258 per day PAYE (dependent on experience). Start: September. Employment type: Agency (Temporary to Permanent). Days: Monday‑Friday, 8:30‑16:30, term time only. Full time.

Overview

We are looking for an empathetic and energetic PE Teacher to join the Starfyn Education Family in a long‑term, full‑time role. The school caters to students aged 3‑19 with a primary diagnosis of autism, supporting their sensory development and life skills. The role involves assisting children with progress and making a positive difference.

Ideal Candidate

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• ASD & SLD experience
• Experience working with a large cohort of pre‑verbal students, cognitively at EYFS and Year 1 levels
• Understanding and supporting behaviours of concern, high sensory needs
• Knowledge/experience of ASD principles – using visuals, AAC communication, schedules, routines
