Overview

Are you an engaging and active PE Teacher looking for an exciting and fulfilling role in secondary schools located in Scunthorpe? This role offers the opportunity to teach Physical Education to students in Key Stages 3–5 and to contribute to the PE department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality practical PE lessons to students in Y7 – Y11.
• Encourage students to develop knowledge and understanding of different sports and movements.
• Collaborate with the PE department, contributing ideas on ways pupils can achieve their potential.
• Uphold high expectations of students and implement behavioural policies.
• Follow safeguarding procedures.
• Cover some lessons in IT during placement as required.
• Maintain professional conduct and support a positive learning environment.

Compensation and Support

• Salary is paid to scale: daily rate £168.80 – £232.56.
