PCB assembler

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PCB Assembler to join a successful and well-established electronics manufacturing business in Stevenage. This is a fantastic role for someone with PCB assembly experience who enjoys working in a quality-focused production environment.

Working within the Conventional Assembly department, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards and carrying out a variety of associated manufacturing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble PCB products from assembly drawings and build packs
• Pre-form, insert and crop component leads using hand tools
• Identify electronic components including resistors, capacitors and ICs
• Carry out hand placement of surface mount components
• Undertake SMT wet board assembly
• Prepare and wire PCBs as required
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Follow ESD and static control procedures
