We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll & Compensation Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations, and administering various employee compensation components such as per diem, allowances, and reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and support weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Manage and track employee compensation components including:
Per diem payments
Phone and vehicle allowances
Expense reimbursements
Truck allowances and other stipends
Audit payroll data for accuracy, including hours, rates, deductions, and adjustments
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and documentation
Partner with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries
