Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Processing
- Process monthly payroll cycles (including off-cycle runs if needed)
- Collect, validate, and input payroll data (attendance, overtime, bonuses, deductions)
- Calculate gross-to-net salaries, taxes, and social contributions
- Ensure accurate and timely salary payments
- Statutory Compliance (China-specific)
- Handle Individual Income Tax (IIT) calculations and filings
- Administer social insurance and housing fund (SI & HF) contributions
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Stay updated on China labor laws and payroll regulations
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain payroll records and employee data in HR/payroll systems
- Prepare payroll reports (labor cost reports, variance analysis, audit reports)
