Payables Specialist

**Overview**

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Payables Specialist to join our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position. This role supports accounts payable and employee expense processes for offices across the country. We welcome both entry-level and experienced candidates.

**Responsibilities**

**What You’ll Do**

+ Deliver strong internal and external customer service
+ Research and resolve open A/P items and discrepancies
+ Support regional accounting teams with accounts payable activities
+ Answer vendor and employee questions and provide day-to-day support
+ Process vendor and subconsultant invoices, releases, and payment requests
+ Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, sales/use tax, and general ledger coding
+ Participate in check run processing within the A/P team rotation
+ Review and approve employee expenses for compliance with company policy
