Paving Screed Operator

Our client is looking for a Paving Screed Operator who will be responsible for operating and controlling the screed on an asphalt paving machine to ensure a smooth, even, and properly compacted surface. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and coordination with the paving crew to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

+ Operate the screed controls on an asphalt paver to regulate depth, width, and smoothness of the asphalt mat

+ Adjust screed settings to maintain proper grade, slope, and crown according to project plans

+ Monitor asphalt material flow and temperature to ensure consistent paving quality

+ Coordinate with the paver operator, roller operators, and ground crew for efficient workflow

+ Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on screed equipment
