Patient Transport Logistics Manager

Description

Under the direction of the Department Director, the Patient Transport Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations for the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (RRUCLA) Patient Escort/Transportation Services Department.
This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality transportation services across the medical center while providing leadership, operational oversight, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Workflow Management

+ Coordinate and manage daily departmental workflow, including Patient Escort, Transportation, and Volunteer Staff
+ Oversee Central Dispatch operations and ensure timely, efficient service delivery
+ Supervise hospital discharge areas to support patient flow and throughput
+ Monitor and streamline transportation services, hospital/staff shuttles, and vendor relationships (e.g., valet services)
