This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely patient registration while supporting front-line operations in a high-acuity environment. The position involves cross-training across multiple areas of the Emergency Department, requiring strong communication, quick thinking, and a patient-centered mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations

+ Check in patients arriving through the Emergency Department entrance

+ Collect and verify identification and insurance information

+ Provide assistance to patients and visitors, including stepping away from the desk when needed

+ Collaborate with hospital security and police to maintain a safe environment
