Patient Registrar - ED
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM — Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
+ Warmly greet and assist patients and families upon arrival
+ Update patient demographics accurately and confidentially
+ Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
+ Collect co-pays and process payments
+ Obtain required consents (in-person, phone, judicial, etc.)
+ Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record
+ Provide support to departments throughout the facility
+ Document all interactions with accuracy and professionalism
+ Facilitate patient admissions across hospital and pavilion locations
+ Perform additional duties as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
