Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Inpatient Rehab Unit.

Hours/Shift:

Part-time, dayshift, approximately 7am to 7pm

Department/Position Overview: 

Inpatient Rehab (IPR) is an 8-bed unit specializing in providing patients with additional rehabilitation needs for 2-3 weeks when they are not independent enough to go home but do not require a skilled nursing facility. We work closely with physical therapy, occupational therapy, & speech therapy teams while providing care to these patients. We become familiar with our patients and their routines over this longer stay. We enjoy watching our patients progress to going home and that is rewarding as a patient care technician.
