Job Description

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of duties involving the observation of cardiac monitors, interpretation and documentation of Cardiac Rhythm strips. Provides personal patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Medical secretary/receptionist experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) American Heart Association: Required
Essential Functions:
Assists with patient care activities, as needed, under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or shift leader. Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies.
