 Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Patient care Tech in the Medical Services, Transmagnetic Stimulation Services – Brief Treatment-Edisonof Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.

The Patient care Tech is responsible for administering, monitoring, and scheduling Transmagnetic Stimulation (TMS) services, providing support for individuals served throughout treatment, and ensuring equipment safety and functionality.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Under strict physician supervision Administers TMS services in accordance with established policies and procedures. 
Conducts pre-treatment assessments to verify TMS therapy eligibility. 
Demonstrates competency in procedures within scope of practice. 
Explains TMS to individuals served and responds to inquiries related to the procedure.
