Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT performs multi‑skilled activities to support a decentralized patient‑centered approach and achieve desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include measuring and documenting vital signs, identifying patient concerns and reporting them to colleagues, and moving, turning or relocating patients as needed for comfort and medical requirements. The ideal PCT demonstrates patience, empathy, intuition, effective communication, and organizational skills.
