Part time , Rotating, Variable weekends.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, specimens, and medication, throughout the hospital as assigned.

Essential Functions
+ Transport patients safely, timely, and efficiently. This may include assisting with lifting the patients on and off beds and moving patients throughout the hospital.
+ Requires the ability to recognize if the patient is experiencing stress or other issues during transport and immediately seeks assistance.
+ Monitors O2, IV’s, catheters, etc. and alert appropriate personal with problems 100% of the time.
+ Informs supervisor/dispatcher of all delays within 10 minutes.
+ Maintains transport equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. Returns all equipment to the appropriate location.
+ Maintains and completes all departmental records, completes proper handoff before removing patient from dept/unit. Check ...
